How do I ship a used e-bike in the UK?
Shipping a used e-bike can be a bit of a minefield, particularly if you've sold one to somebody at the other end of the country.
Unlike a normal bicycle, you've got the added complication of the lithium battery. Many standard parcel couriers either won't accept e-bike batteries or have restrictions on how they can be transported.
Then there's the bike itself. Finding a suitable box, removing the pedals, turning or removing the handlebars and protecting the frame properly can be quite a job if you've never done it before.
So, what's the best way to get a used e-bike to its new owner?
Is it better to box it and use a specialist service, arrange collection with a bike transporter, or simply sell collection-only?
