How much range have you lost from your e-bike battery?
Battery life is probably one of the biggest concerns when owning an e-bike long term, but it's surprisingly difficult to find good real-world information about how batteries actually perform after several years.
I'm interested to hear from anyone who's owned the same e-bike or battery for a few years.
Have you noticed much difference in range compared with when it was new?
It would be useful to know the age of the battery, its capacity (Wh), approximate mileage and whether you charge it after every ride or only when needed.
Also, has anyone had a battery that still performs well after five years or more?
I've used some surprisingly high-mileage batteries that still had plenty of usable capacity left, while I've also come across relatively low-mileage batteries that haven't aged nearly as well.
It would be interesting to build up some real-world examples.
