What’s the longest ride you’ve done on an e-bike?
One of the things I enjoy most about e-bikes is how they can turn a normal Sunday ride into a bit of an adventure.
I've logged a few thousand miles riding e-bikes over the years, with my longest being just under 60 miles. Living in Cornwall means plenty of steep hills to negotiate, so it's important to be frugal with your assist level.
This ride was done on a Vitus Mach E I owned back in 2020 - it had a Shimano Steps E6000 motor with 504Wh battery, and I managed the whole ride in Eco mode, with about 1 bar remaining on the battery by the time I got back. Incidentally, it was bloody cold, and I got a proper soaking on the moors😂
